Digital Signage Expo conference to feature ad agency executives

Digital Signage Expo (DSE) has announced it will host speakers from WPP’s The Store, StarCom World Wide, Publicis’ Zenith Optimedia, Razorfish, Hyperspace and Neo Advertising, among others at its Conference Program scheduled for Feb. 23-25, 2010, in Las Vegas.

 

In one of the total eight tracks available at DSE’s conference, sessions will address five topical issues related to advertising-based digital out-of-home networks. Curricula will be offered both for brand marketers/managers and advertising agency professionals who want an in-depth and intelligent discussion on these topics.

How to write a digital signage press release: Step 3

Press releases are no longer mechanisms to induce journalists to produce news stories. They ARE news stories. A lot of people in this industry read press releases directly because they get them distributed to their email via the Internet, flagged in automated news alerts based on keywords.

 

The point is that your opening paragraph should not follow time-honored conventions and bore the pants off people by droning on about the company and its empty-suited market positioning statement. The leading paragraph is your opening statement ... the big news .. the stuff that gets people excited, gets them reading on and, ideally, sees them going to your Website or giving someone at your company a call.
